	Light Cruiser Names

The Terran Navy uses a number of sources for ship names. The newest "Hepburn" class cruisers were initally to be named after angels, but after some objection from various religious figures, and a certain superstitious nature of some Navy personnel, another name source was required. The Japanese decided to go with the "angel" theme, but with a difference, using the names of female pre-fusion movie stars as inspiration.

The standard nomenclature is used for hull numbers, where the Letters give her type, the first two numbers her year of production, and the remainder being the order in which the Navy took delivery
